South Seattle College provides opportunities for you to explore your interests and pursue your goals outside of classroom. We offer a variety of student-focused activities and programs to enhance growth in leadership, service opportunities, building network of peers and professionals while meeting all your academic responsibilities.

Participating in student club activities is a great way to make new friends and enhance college experience. It also provides opportunity to gain leadership and organizational experience.

Students are also welcome to create their own clubs or student association of the country of their origin. Please contact the Student Club Center to learn more about the process.

Conversation Group Program

The Conversation Group Program is designed for students who are interested in language exchange, other cultures, and making new friends! International Programs will help match you with a group of conversation partners that fits your needs.

Groups will meet on their own to help each other improve their language skills, share cultures, and have fun! This program is available every quarter and sign-ups begin within the first few weeks! If you are interested in participating or would like information, please contact or click here.

University Tours

University Tours provide international students with the opportunity to tour most Washington based university campuses. Students can expect to visit public and private university campuses, ask questions to the university advisor on issues such as housing and scholarships and meet other university students BEFORE transferring to a university.
